Terms of Service

1. What GunSnap is

GunSnap is software that helps a licensed firearm dealer photograph inventory, write listings, and publish them to the dealer’s own storefront website. That is all it is. Specifically, GunSnap is not:

• an ATF bound book or any acquisition-and-disposition (A&D) record-keeping system;
• a provider of Form 4473, NICS, background-check, or firearm-transfer services;
• a payment processor or shipping service.

All sales and transfers happen in person, at the dealer’s store. A storefront “reserve” is only a request to hold an item; it is not a purchase, and no money changes hands through GunSnap.

2. Who may use it

GunSnap is for licensed firearm dealers and their authorized staff. You must be at least 18, able to enter this agreement, and operating a lawful business. You are responsible for everything done under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure.

3. You are responsible for legal compliance

You — the dealer — are solely responsible for following every federal, state, and local law that applies to your business, including all ATF requirements, background checks, record-keeping, and the lawful transfer of every item. You are the licensee of record for your inventory. GunSnap does not give legal or compliance advice, and using GunSnap does not satisfy any legal obligation you have. You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of what you list.

4. Subscription and payment

GunSnap is a subscription. The current price is $199 per month, with no long-term contract — you may cancel at any time, and your subscription runs through the end of the period you’ve paid for. Fees are billed in advance and, except where the law requires otherwise, are non-refundable. We’ll give reasonable notice before any price change.

5. Your content is yours

You keep ownership of the photos, listings, and business information you put into GunSnap (“Your Content”). You grant us the limited license needed to host and display it — for example, to publish the listings you choose to your public storefront and to operate the service. You can export Your Content and delete items at any time.

6. Our software is ours

GunSnap, including its software, design, and the GunSnap name and logo, belongs to GunSnap LLC. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service while your subscription is active. You agree not to copy, resell, reverse- engineer, or misuse it.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use GunSnap to:

• break any law, or facilitate an unlawful sale or transfer;
• post false, misleading, or infringing listings;
• attempt to access another dealer’s data, or probe, disrupt, or overload the service;
• upload malicious code or scrape the service without permission.

8. Service “as is”

We work hard to keep GunSnap running and accurate, including the AI that reads markings and drafts listings — but AI can make mistakes, and you are responsible for reviewing every listing before you publish it. GunSnap is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We don’t promise the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, GunSnap will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or lost sales. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.

10. You indemnify us

You agree to defend and indemnify GunSnap against claims arising from your use of the service, your listings, or your failure to follow the laws that apply to your business.

11. Suspension and termination

You may cancel anytime. We may suspend or close an account that violates these Terms or the law, or to protect the service or other users. On termination, your right to use GunSnap ends; you may export Your Content first, as described in our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If we make a material change, we’ll update the date above and make a reasonable effort to notify dealers. Continuing to use GunSnap after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Pennsylvania.
